Built by riders,for riders.
MotorcycleDatabase exists because we got tired of chasing contradictory specs across forums, wikis, and auction listings. We wanted one place where every number traces back to a factory manual — and where the best roads in the world are just as well documented.
Factory-verified
Every specification is traced back to an original factory source. No guessing, no "I think it was around 150 hp."
Rider-curated
Our route database is built and vetted by people who have actually ridden the roads — not scraped off a tourism brochure.
Free forever
Core specs and routes are free, with no paywalls. Advanced trip-planning tools help keep the lights on.
Our mission
Motorcycles are one of the last places where raw, physical engineering is still legible to the owner. A spec sheet tells a story — about the trade-offs an engineering team made, the philosophy of a brand, and the kind of rider the bike was built for.
We think that story deserves to be preserved accurately, and paired with the roads where those machines get to do what they were designed to do. So we built this.
Who we are
A small, distributed team of engineers and riders. We work on this in evenings, on weekends, and occasionally — when we're lucky — on the side of a mountain pass with spotty cell service. If you have corrections, contributions, or just want to share a road, we'd love to hear from you.
